Kyren Lacy, a 2025 NFL Draft prospect and former LSU Tigers star, was discovered dead at the age of 25. The news was confirmed by ESPN early on Sunday.
Late Saturday night, rumors of Lacy’s death started to circulate on social media.
Following a deadly collision in December, Lacy was charged with felony hit-and-run with death, negligent murder, and careless vehicle operation. Two days later, he had announced his intention to enter the NFL Draft, and his trial was scheduled to start Monday morning.
58 receptions for 866 yards and nine touchdowns were recorded by the Louisiana native last season.
In 2022, Lacy transferred to LSU following two years with the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns. With 162 catches for 2,360 yards and 26 touchdowns, he concluded his collegiate career.
