EXCLUSIVE: Joining Passes, Winning a $12K Smoking Bet—A Charley Hull Exclusive……

During The Masters week, LPGA standout Charley Hull offered the golf community a cause to look outside Augusta National Golf Club. Passes will provide supporters a far closer and more intimate look at Hull’s life and career starting on Tuesday.

Hull is taking her internet persona very seriously with this decision. At the moment, Hull has over 94,000 followers on X and over 738,000 on Instagram, where she is very active. In a few of hours, almost all of the content she creates on META’s platform becomes viral.

It should thus not be surprising that we were the first to be given the exclusive when the chance to speak with her about it presented itself.

“Joining Passes is a whole new adventure for me where I can share a more personal, behind-the-scenes look into my life,” Hull explained to Newsweek when asked why she chose to sign up for her account. “Everyone should have more access to the golf world, and the internet golf content community is booming!

“It’s the perfect time to join a platform like Passes where I can provide this level of access by leveraging their amazing tech features to connect with subscribers.”

Through the monetization platform Passes, creators can develop their personal brands and become businesses. Most importantly, it provides them with special tools to establish a deeper connection with their followers.

“They’ll get a real insight into my day to day life,” Hull assured them. “I’m keen to know what my fans want to see and will be listening to that, but I’m already planning live chats and some fun giveaways!”

Since the major championships are coming up, a devoted golf and Hull fan like myself has likely viewed this new experience as a barrier to her tournament preparation.

Everyone in the golf community wants to see the 29-year-old English standout continue her strong start to the current season.

“I’ll just bring Passes along with me and don’t envisage it being too distracting,” she responded. “I have a good friend, Anouska, helping me and she’ll be behind the camera from time to time to make sure every moment is captured for my subscribers.”

The two-time LPGA Tour champion even said that she is already getting ready for the majors. The Chevron Championship, which will take place at its regular location, The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas, from April 24 to 28, is almost here.

“I’ll be working hard on my putting since it’s incredibly important in those big events. “I have a putting green at home, which is very convenient, but it can be challenging because the greens there in the UK can be a little slower,” she remarked.

One of the most recent examples of why Charley Hull is a media sensation in professional golf sprang to mind, along with everything else needed to make the interview a success.

“How’s the quit smoking going?” I inquired, unsure if I should mention her well-known wager on the topic.

Nevertheless, she did it.

“All is well thus far! I have a valid reason for avoiding them because I placed a wager with a friend and don’t want to lose the $12.5k.”
