BREAKING NEWS ; Bobby Motaung video | Is Kaizer Chiefs’ Nasreddine Nabi given a lifeline by Jose Riveiro’s depart?ure from the Orlando Pirates?

The club’s football manager, Bobby Motaung, has made the strongest hint yet that coach Nasreddine Nabi will remain at Kaizer Chiefs for the upcoming campaign, despite Nabi’s difficulties there.

The Chiefs, who have lost their last two league games and won only one of their past five, will face TS Galaxy on Saturday evening, hoping to escape finishing in third place.

The Chiefs have lost their previous two league games and have won just one of their last five. Chiefs will meet TS Galaxy on Saturday evening, seeking to avoid a third-place finish.

Chiefs are presently ninth in the Betway Premiership standings, seven points from the relegation playoffs and 29 points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

Bobby Motaung says Nabi is going nowhere; people, we will be playing in the Motsepe Foundation very soon.

The Chiefs, on the other hand, still have a chance to end their trophy drought this season after defeating Stellenbosch FC in the Nedbank Cup quarterfinals. However, they will face Sundowns, who have defeated Amakhosi three times this season, in the semi-finals next weekend.

Motaung’s thinking appears to be influenced by the departure of Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro, who declared that his contract with the Bucs will not be renewed at the end of the season.

With Pirates forced to reset following Riveiro’s trophy-laden spell, Motaung believes that continuity is the best course of action, citing past experiences.

A video circulating on social media shows Motaung instructing a group of individuals, including brother Kaizer Motaung Junior, that they must stick it out and keep the course. He uses the example of how the Chiefs struggled to rebuild after winning the league with Stuart Baxter in 2015, their last big title. The Englishman quickly departed.

In the video, Motaung is heard stating, “You see the Pirates coach is leaving next season, they have to start from fresh, we are not changing anything next season.”

“This thing needs balls, that’s how it is.”

However, Nabi will be under more pressure after a few more losses, which would make the Chiefs’ management reevaluate their most recent stance on the coaching situation.
