BREAKING NEWS:One striker is in and one is out for the Orlando Pirates…..

The Orlando Pirates are almost done with their striker dilemma. Top heavy are the Soweto giants.

It is anticipated that the Orlando Pirates would extend Zakhele Lepasa’s contract by one year.

Boitumelo Radiopane, a teammate who has made six appearances this season, is said to suffer as a result of this move.

The Bucs are considering their options for either letting go of Radiopane or sending the highly regarded 23-year-old on loan, which would not be the first time they have done so.

The striker, who was born in Sebokeng, played for Cape Town Spurs for a season in 2023–2024, which ended in relegation.

Another striker, Boitumelo [Radiopane], is the player who would be impacted by Zakhele [Lepasa] being with the team, and the team is considering loaning him out once more.

Radiopane has been given the opportunity to play and prove himself, but it is thought that things haven’t gone as planned because he hasn’t been able to command a regular spot like the other young players, such as Relebohile Mofokeng and Mohau Nkota. For this reason, they would like to either loan him or release him.

According to a different source, the Orlando Pirates are trying to make room for Yanele Mbhuthuma, a striker for Richards Bay.

Indeed, the team intends to add another striker, and they have already selected a few, including Richards Bay’s Yanele Mbhuthuma, which is why they wish to loan or release Radiopane.

They are currently looking for strikers who will battle with one another in the upcoming season.

Given that the Orlando Pirates have until June 30 to renew Lepasa’s contract, Radiopane’s future will likely be determined in the upcoming weeks. What happens will only become clear in time.
